PLANT DESCRIPTION
An erect spreading annual or biennial plant grows up to 1.5 meters in height. Leaves simple, alternate, triangular and unequal at base. Flowers large, solitary, purplish white colored. Fruits globose capsules covered with numerous prickles, containing numerous yellowish brown seeds.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, kapha, arthritis, cough, asthma, muscle spasm, fever, ulcer, skin diseases, lumbago, sciatica and dandruff.
