PLANT DESCRIPTION
A large, nearly glabrous twinning evergreen shrub. Leaves are imparipinnately compound, opposite, terminal leaflets are larger than laterals, ovate-lanceolate, flowers are whitish, fragrant, seen in terminal and axillary cymes. Fruits are elliptic, globose berries, become black when ripe.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, migraine, paralysis, wounds, ulcers, constipation, flatulence, skin diseases, odontalgia, stomatitis and dysmenorrhoea.
