PLANT DESCRIPTION
A short-stemmed softly hairy annual herb; leaves simple, narrowly linear or filiform, finely acuminate, entire or distantly toothed, flowers small, in ovoid spikes: fruits ellipsoid obtuse capsules, seeds smooth, yellowish brown, and ovoid-oblong
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated tridosha, burning sensation, constipation, gastritis, dry cough, erysipelas, gout, jaundice, kidney diseases, duodenal ulcers, hemorrhoids, emaciation and general debility.
