PLANT DESCRIPTION
A medium sized tree growing up to 15 meters in height. Leaves simple, opposite, elliptic oblong, pubescent with prominent nerves. Flowers white, fragrant, in axillary cymes. Fruits globose or pyriform berries in variable sizes, containing numerous white stony hard seed embedded in white or red sweaty pulp.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, hemorrhage, diarrhea, dysentery in children, ulcers, gingivitis, vomiting, ulcers, wounds and general weakness.
