PLANT DESCRIPTION
A perennial twinning herb with latex all over. Leaves simple, opposite, cordate, acuminate, velvety pubescent beneath; flowers greenish yellow, in long umbel, fruits follicles, with soft spiny projection all over, seeds many, ovate pubescent, and truncate at apex.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, kapha, cough, asthma, hemorrhoids, worm infestations, dyspepsia, uterine and menstrual disorders and intermittent fever.
