PLANT DESCRIPTION
An annual climber with hairy shoots. Leaves simple, alternate, deltoid or sometimes ovate, 3-5 lobed, with scrubby hairs all around; flowers small yellow, unisexual, fruits globose, greenish with streaks when unripe and bright red when ripe, with small, numerous compressed ovoid seeds.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, constipation, cough, vertigo, burning sensation, dyspepsia, flatulence and dental pain.
