PLANT DESCRIPTION
A perennial herbaceous plant grows up to 1 meter in height. Leaves simple, alternate, ovate-lanceolate, acute or acuminate and long petioled. Flowers whitish, found in long candle like terminal spikes. Fruits small, containing minute dark colored seeds.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, gout, dysuria, jaundice, menorrhagia, and rheumatism.
