PLANT DESCRIPTION
An erect perennial herb grows up to 1 meter in height. Leaves simple, alternate, ovate-lanceolate and acute; flowers white, arises from leaf axils, fruits thin round and pointed at the edge greenish when unripe turns scarlet red when ripe; containing many flat compressed white seeds.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, indigestion, anorexia, obesity, hypercholestremia, cough, bronchitis, thrombosis, fever, edema, arthritis, wound, ulcers and work as antibiotic.
