PLANT DESCRIPTION
A soft wooded perennial shrub grows up to 3 meters in height. Plant is having latex everywere. Leaves simple, palmately, 5-6 lobed, long petioled and drooping. Flowers arises from Terminal or axillary cymes, small and bright red. Fruits small trilobed, and soft containing three seeds.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies kapha, pitta, inflammation, fresh wounds, ulcers and skin diseases. Plant is toxic in larger doses. Latex is applied for fresh wounds, and it exhibits antibacterial activity.
