Distribution – Mainly in central part of India, growing in dry stony hills.
PLANT DESCRIPTION
A large shrub grows up to 2 -3 meters in height. Leaves paripinnately compound, leaflets 10-12 pairs, ovate-lanceolate, large stipule at the base of each compound leaf. Flowers yellowish, in axillary and terminal corymbs. Fruits pods, brown when ripe contain 10-15 dark brown seeds.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, kapha, skin diseases, ulcers, diabetes, diarrhea, worm infestation, conjunctivitis, and nocturnal emission.
