PLANT DESCRIPTION
A small annual succulent weed usually seen in wet areas. Leaves simple, fleshy, oblong-ovate, obtuse and sessile. Flowers small, bright yellow, in terminal or axillary clusters. Fruits ovoid capsules with numerous small black seeds.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, tumor, inflammations, jaundice, diabetes, burns, headache, burning sensation, vomiting, dysentery, skin diseases, and stomatitis.
