PLANT DESCRIPTION
A trailing prickly herb grows up to 2-3 meters in height. Leaves simple, alternate, 3-7 lobbed, clothed with appressed hairs, crenate-serrate. Flowers large, yellow with purple centre, fruits ovoid pointed capsules, enclosed in enlarged calyx, seeds triangular.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, inflammations, joint pain, nephropathy, burning sensation, and urinary retention.
