PLANT DESCRIPTION
An erect perennial shrub grows up to 2 meters in height. Leaves simple, alternate, long petioled, deeply lobed to 3-5, and hairy. Flowers in axillary cymes, unisexual, bright red; fruits three chambered, contain 1 seed on each chamber.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, pitta, severe constipation, skin diseases, and allergy. Overdose causes toxic symptoms.
