Distribution – Throughout in the dense evergreen forests of Western Ghats.
PLANT DESCRIPTION
A perennial, widely spreading evergreen climber, grows over hedges and bushes, and sometimes on bigger trees. Leaves simple, alternate, ovate-lanceolate, obtuse, pubescent on both surfaces, and sessile. Flowers arises form axillary panicles, are small and yellowish green colored. Fruits bluish black single seeded drupes.      
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, inflammation, ulcers, wounds, cough, asthma, skin disease and stomatitis.
Useful part    :    Leaves, root.
