PLANT DESCRIPTION
Medium sized deciduous tree grows up to 12 meters in height. Leaves simple, opposite, ovate, base cordate, acute, upper surface covered with cuticle. Flowers white and axillary; fruits round with corrugated surface – star shaped, contains single stony seed.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha vata, hemorrhoids, urinary calculus, indigestion, anorexia, bronchitis, cough, and anemia.
