PLANT DESCRIPTION
A moderate sized shrub grows up to 3 m in height. Leaves simple, alternate, cleft upto half into 3-7 lobes, lobes broad, ovate, rotund, suddenly acute and gland dotted; flowers yellow with purple centre. Fruits rounded beaked capsules. Seeds usually with two coats of hairs, while grey or reddish brown in color

Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, vata, arthritis, diarrhea, dysentery, skin diseases, amenorrhoea, dysmenorrhoea, flatulence, fever, burning sensation of the stomach, rheumatoid arthritis, liver disease, sexual weakness, and increases breast milk secretion.
