PLANT DESCRIPTION
A perennial aromatic grass grows up to 2 meter in height. Leaves narrow, linear, erect; spikelets grey in a panicle of numerous racemes, fruits oblong grains.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, vata, burning sensation, hyperdipsia, ulcer, skin diseases, vomiting nausea, flatulence, dyspepsia, colic, cough, fever, low back pain, headache and general debility.
