Distribution – Throughout India, growing wild in dry areas.
PLANT DESCRIPTION
A prickly climber grows over bushes and hedges. Leaves palmately compound, trifoliate, with oblong acute leaflets. Flowers white or greenish yellow in terminal or axillary panicles. Fruits sub-globose, fleshy, orange colored, with small seeds covered by mucilage.    
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, kapha, hemiplegia, malaria, colic, flatulence, diarrhea, wounds, ulcers, epilepsy and poison insect bites.
Useful part : Root, Leaves, Flowers, Fruits.
