PLANT DESCRIPTION
A slender twinner shrub. Leaves simple, opposite, fleshy, ovate cordate, acute; flowers in umbel inflorescence, purplish; fruits fusiform, divaricate, tapering to the apex; seeds ovate with long coma.

Plant pacifies vitiated vata, kapha, cough, asthma, bronchitis, dysentery, diarrhea, wounds, ulcer, hemorrhoids, malignant tumor, and leukemia.
