PLANT DESCRIPTION
The plant is a small deciduous thorny shrub; with simple, elliptic, acute or acuminate, leaves, coarsely serrate. Flowers greenish yellow, found in short simple or branched racemes; fruits globose, purple drupes with juicy pulp and hard endocarp. seeds 8-16.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta and vata, inflammation, skin disease, poison, itching, kidney diseases, urinary retention, jaundice and splenomegaly.
