PLANT DESCRIPTION
A moderate sized evergreen tree grows up to 13 m in height. Leaves simple, alternate, dark green, shiny, elliptic-oblong, distantly serrulate, main nerves numerous; male flowers very shortly pedicellate in rounded axillary clusters, female flowers 1—3 in an axil; fruits ellipsoid or rounded drupes, white tomentose; seed normally one, stone pointed, very hard rugose.

Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, burning sensation, constipation, filariasis, inflammations, oligospermia, habitual abortion and sterility
