Distribution – Growing naturally in wet deciduous forests of Himachal pradesh, Madhya pradesh in India. 
PLANT DESCRIPTION
A large sized deciduous tree grows up to 35 m in height. Leaves imparipinnate, alternate, rachis zig-zag, leaflets 3-5, terminal one being the largest and the lowest the smallest, conspicuously and abruptly acuminate; flowers pale-yellow, sessile or nearly so in axillary panicles, shorter than the leaves; fruit pods narrowed at the base into a long stalk; seeds 1—4 per pod.     
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated tridosha, menorrhagia, dyspepsia, colic, diarrhea, dysentery, vomiting, hemorrhoids and burning sensation, burning sensation, vomiting, skin diseases, ulcers, worm infestation, hiccough, bronchitis, sciatica, gout, inflammations and intermittent fever.
