PLANT DESCRIPTION
An evergreen shrub grows up to 4 meters in height. Leaves three in a whorl, sessile, linear, dark green above, acute, and lanceolate. Flowers red or rose colored and fragrant; fruits follicles.     
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, skin diseases, renal or vesical calculi, stomatitis, arthritis, pruritus, cough, bronchitis, cardio-myopathy and ulcers. Overdose will cause toxic symptoms.
