PLANT DESCRIPTION
A pseudo stemed garden plant grows up to 1 meter in height. Leaves simple, alternate, lanceolate, acute, with broad leaf base, which wrap one on another to form the pseudo stem. Leaf base shiny above and pubescent below. Inflaresence terminal, whitish and fragrant, blossom at June to August month. Rhizomes fleshy, branched and with many nodes.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, kapha, nasal polyps, fever, arthritis, stomatitis, worm infestations, general weakness, and stimulant. .
